Summary

A vulnerability in PraisonAI Platform before version 0.1.9 allows a workspace member to modify owner-created records such as projects, issues, and agents without required owner or admin authorization. For projects, a member can reassign the lead_id to their own user ID and then delete the project, bypassing the delete route's owner/admin permission check.

Risk Assessment

The risk involves unauthorized modification or deletion of critical resources by a regular workspace member, potentially leading to data loss, team disruption, and project integrity compromise.

Recommendation

Immediately update PraisonAI Platform to version 0.1.9 or later, which includes fixes enforcing owner and admin authorization on PATCH routes for projects, issues, and agents.
