16th percentile - higher than 16% of all known CVEs

Summary

PraisonAI AgentMail versions before 4.6.78 lack signature verification in webhook mode, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject messages with spoofed sender addresses. Attackers can POST crafted message.received events to the webhook endpoint to inject arbitrary content into the agent and trigger replies to attacker-controlled addresses, bypassing sender allow/block lists.

Risk Assessment

The organization is exposed to sender spoofing, which can lead to data leakage, phishing, or manipulation of agent actions. The lack of signature verification allows attackers to completely bypass sender filtering mechanisms.

Recommendation

Immediately update PraisonAI AgentMail to version 4.6.78 or later. If an update is not possible, temporarily disable webhook mode or implement additional signature verification at the proxy level.
