Summary

PraisonAI before version 4.6.78 has a vulnerability where the default Subprocess Sandbox backend ignores all configured security policies. Blocked commands, paths, imports, subprocess restrictions, and file write restrictions are completely bypassed.

Risk Assessment

Attackers can execute arbitrary system commands, read sensitive files, and perform destructive operations, leading to full system compromise and data confidentiality loss.

Recommendation

Immediately update PraisonAI to version 4.6.78 or later. As a temporary workaround, disable the Subprocess Sandbox feature or apply additional isolation mechanisms.
