Risk Assessment

The risk is XSS execution in the victim's browser context, potentially leading to session theft, data leakage, or unauthorized actions on an administrator account.

Recommendation

Immediately upgrade Snipe-IT to version 8.6.2 or later, which includes the fix for this vulnerability.
