A vulnerability in the SBC codec decompression in Wireshark can cause a crash, denial of service, and potentially code execution. Affects versions 4.6.0-4.6.4 and 4.4.0-4.4.14.

Immediately update Wireshark to version 4.6.5 or later (or 4.4.15+). If an update is not possible, avoid analyzing traffic containing SBC streams.
