CVE-2026-50703

An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the Attachments module of Frappe Framework v15.89.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by uploading a crafted XML file.

Frappe Framework 15.x before 15.107.3 and 16.x before 16.17.0 relies on a vulnerable pdfkit library (CVE-2025-26240) for PDF generation, enabling server-side request forgery and local file inclusion. Authenticated attackers can supply crafted content to PDF rendering to make the server fetch internal resources or embed local server files in generated PDFs.

Frappe Framework before 15.117.0 and 16.x before 16.30.0 contains an arbitrary file read vulnerability in the handling of attributes in outgoing email HTML. Attackers who can supply outgoing email content can set an attribute value referencing a local file path to expose sensitive server files.

Frappe Framework before 15.118.0 and 16.x before 16.31.0 does not check whether a user account is disabled before sending Document Follow email notifications. A disabled user who previously followed documents continues to receive email updates about activity on those documents after their access should have been revoked.

Frappe Framework before 15.120.0 and 16.x before 16.33.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the whitelisted send_sms API endpoint, which does not verify that the caller is permitted to send SMS messages. Users lacking the required permissions can invoke send_sms to send arbitrary SMS messages that impersonate the Company.

Frappe Framework development builds contain an authorization flaw in the render_jinja_template endpoint that allows low-privileged users to render arbitrary Jinja templates by supplying raw template strings. Attackers with print permission on any document can execute arbitrary SELECT statements against unrelated tables, including reading password hashes from the __Auth table.
