Summary

A flaw was found in Keycloak's SingleUseObjectProvider, a global key-value store lacking proper type and namespace isolation. This allows an attacker to delete arbitrary single-use entries, enabling replay of consumed action tokens such as password reset links, potentially leading to unauthorized access or account compromise.

Risk Assessment

An attacker could exploit this to compromise user accounts by replaying password reset links. This poses a serious threat to system confidentiality and integrity.

Recommendation

Immediately update Keycloak to a patched version. Additionally, monitor for unusual use of single-use tokens.
