Summary

The PhastPress plugin for WordPress in all versions up to and including 3.10 is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). The scripts service endpoint constructs its URL whitelist dynamically from the attacker-controlled HTTP 'Host' header, allowing bypass of the whitelist and forcing requests to arbitrary destinations.

Risk Assessment

An unauthenticated attacker can force the server to make HTTP requests to internal or external resources and retrieve their content. This may lead to exposure of internal data or use of the server as a proxy.

Recommendation

Update the PhastPress plugin to a version later than 3.10 or disable it. Consider restricting outbound HTTP traffic from the WordPress server.

Original NVD description (English source)

The PhastPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 3.10 This is due to the scripts service endpoint constructing its URL whitelist dynamically from the attacker-controlled HTTP 'Host' header. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to spoof the header to match any target URL, bypassing the whitelist and forcing the server to make HTTP requests to arbitrary internal or external destinations and return the response content.
