CVE-2026-31903
HighSummary
The WebSocket Application Programming Interface lacks restrictions on the number of authentication requests. This absence of rate limiting may allow an attacker to conduct denial-of-service attacks or brute-force attacks to gain unauthorized access.
Risk Assessment
The lack of rate limiting for authentication requests poses a risk of attacks that could disrupt system operations and lead to unauthorized access to data.
Recommendation
It is recommended to implement rate limiting for authentication requests in the WebSocket interface to minimize the risk of denial-of-service and brute-force attacks.

Original NVD description (English source)
The WebSocket Application Programming Interface lacks restrictions on the number of authentication requests. This absence of rate limiting may allow an attacker to conduct denial-of-service attacks by suppressing or mis-routing legitimate charger telemetry, or conduct brute-force attacks to gain unauthorized access.
