Summary

An out-of-bounds write exists in the DPU driver of Samsung Exynos processors (1280, 2200, 1380, 1480, 2400, 1580, 2500, 1680, 2600) due to missing input length validation in color mode LUT parsing. This leads to kernel memory corruption and potential privilege escalation.

Risk Assessment

Kernel memory corruption and privilege escalation are possible, potentially allowing full device compromise.

Recommendation

Immediately install the firmware update containing the DPU driver fix for the listed Exynos models.
