CVE-2026-22016
HighCVSS 7.5Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk49th percentile - higher than 49% of all known CVEs
Summary
Vulnerability in the JAXP component of Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, and Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. An unauthenticated attacker with network access can easily exploit this flaw to gain unauthorized access to critical data or all accessible data in these products.
Risk Assessment
The risk involves potential full disclosure of sensitive organizational data stored or processed by vulnerable Java environments, leading to confidentiality breaches and financial losses.
Recommendation
Immediately apply security patches provided by Oracle for all affected versions of Java SE, GraalVM for JDK, and GraalVM Enterprise Edition. Consider restricting network access to services using the JAXP component.
