Summary

Insufficient validation of user-supplied input in Cisco ISE allows an authenticated remote attacker to obtain write access on the underlying operating system. The attacker sends a crafted HTTP request, and exploitation requires valid administrative credentials.

Risk Assessment

An attacker with administrative privileges can gain write access to the system, and because root escalation is easy, Cisco assigned a High rating. This can lead to full device compromise.
