CVE-2026-19610
MediumCVSS 6.5Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk11th percentile - higher than 11% of all known CVEs
Summary
A flaw was found in the platform-mbean component of JBoss EAP, which provides management access to JVM-level metrics and configurations. The handler for the read-resource operation on the runtime management resource fails to perform required Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) checks, allowing an authenticated low-privileged user such as the Monitor role to view sensitive system properties and JVM configuration details that should be restricted.
Risk Assessment
A low-privileged user can gain visibility into sensitive JVM and system configuration details, facilitating further attacks and violating the principle of least privilege.
Recommendation
Update JBoss EAP to a version containing the fix and verify that low-privileged roles cannot access sensitive management resources.

In node-opcua (an OPC UA implementation for TypeScript and Node.js), versions 2.42.0 through 2.180.0 do not honor namespace-level access control configured via setDefaultRolePermissions for nodes without explicit per-node permissions. SessionContext.getApplicableRolePermissions reads a missing or null value instead of the configured namespace field, and the null result is treated permissively. As a result, an anonymous network client can write variables or call bound methods when an operator relied on restrictive namespace defaults.
