CVE-2026-18115

HighCVSS 7.4
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Exploitation Probability (EPSS)

Low risk
0.23%

14th percentile - higher than 14% of all known CVEs

Summary

Concrete CMS 9.2.0 to 9.5.2 did not enforce per-field edit_user_properties permissions on the REST API user write endpoints (PUT /ccm/api/1.0/users/{uID} and POST /ccm/api/1.0/users/{uID}/change_password). A user with an update-scoped OAuth token and permission to edit only one field could change another non-superuser's password, username, email, and attributes, taking over that account.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can take over other users' accounts, including higher-privileged accounts, leading to unauthorized access to CMS data and functionality.

Recommendation

Upgrade Concrete CMS to a version later than 9.5.2 that contains the fix. Review and restrict the OAuth token scopes granted to users.
