CVE-2026-16068
LowCVSS 3.5Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk4th percentile - higher than 4% of all known CVEs
Summary
The Brizy WordPress plugin before version 2.8.19 does not properly restrict who can modify its site-global design data and does not sanitize part of that data before outputting it, allowing authenticated users with Author-level access and above to store arbitrary JavaScript that is then served unsanitised on the site's front-end pages and executes in the browser of every visitor, including administrators.
Risk Assessment
An attacker can inject malicious scripts that execute for all visitors, potentially leading to data theft, session hijacking, or malware distribution.
Recommendation
Update the Brizy plugin to version 2.8.19 or later, which includes the fix.
