Summary

The Kali Forms plugin for WordPress (versions up to 2.4.18) is vulnerable to stored XSS via the 'digitalSignature' field. Insufficient input sanitization and output escaping allow unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary scripts that execute when users access the affected page.

Risk Assessment

Attackers can hijack admin sessions, steal form data, or redirect users to malicious sites, leading to data confidentiality and integrity breaches and loss of trust.

Recommendation

Immediately update the Kali Forms plugin to the latest version (above 2.4.18) and remove any suspicious content from 'digitalSignature' fields in existing forms.

Original NVD description (English source)

The Kali Forms — Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'digitalSignature' Field Value in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.18 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The required form-submission nonce is publicly available on any page containing the form shortcode, making this exploitable by fully unauthenticated attackers without any precondition beyond the form being published.
