Improper handling of sensitive data during IPsec policy creation and modification in Brocade SANnav versions before 3.0.1a results in pre-shared keys being recorded in application logs. Individuals with read access to system log files or support bundles can view these credentials, leading to the potential exposure of keys used to secure network tunnels.

Plaintext exposure of sensitive authentication data in Brocade SANnav discovery service log files enables individuals with file read access to retrieve administrative switch credentials and active session tokens. An attacker with access to system logs or support bundles can leverage the exposed authentication details to compromise managed network infrastructure and access active application sessions. This affects Brocade SANnav versions before 3.0.1a.

Unauthenticated remote command injection in the Brocade SANnav orchestrator HTTP service allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary administrative switch CLI commands and issue container management instructions. Affects versions before 3.0.1a.

Insufficient input sanitization of shell metacharacters in the Brocade SANnav CLI scripting component permits authenticated users to break out of restricted execution contexts on managed switches. An attacker with command execution permissions can run unauthorized shell commands across target fabric switches, bypassing command allow-lists and obtaining full administrative switch access. This affects all Brocade SANnav versions before 3.0.1a.

In Brocade SANnav versions before 3.0.1a, insecure access controls on internal service ports allow local, non-administrative host users to communicate directly with backend management services. A local attacker can leverage this exposed access to transmit commands to connected Fabric OS switches under the security context of the SANnav management user.
