CVE-2026-12477
MediumCVSS 4.4Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk18th percentile - higher than 18% of all known CVEs
Summary
The Gravity Booster plugin for WordPress up to version 5.26 is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via admin settings due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Authenticated attackers with editor-level permissions can inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user accesses an injected page. This only affects multi-site installations and those where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
Risk Assessment
The risk includes user session hijacking, data theft, and site compromise. However, the attack requires editor permissions and specific conditions, limiting prevalence.
Recommendation
Update the plugin to the latest version. Also consider enabling unfiltered_html only for trusted users.
