Summary

The Text to Speech for WP (AI Voices by Mementor) plugin for WordPress in versions up to 1.9.8 contains hardcoded MySQL database credentials for the vendor's external telemetry server in the Mementor_TTS_Remote_Telemetry class. This allows unauthenticated attackers to extract and decode these credentials, gaining unauthorized write access to the vendor's telemetry database.

Risk Assessment

Unauthorized access to the vendor's telemetry database could lead to data leakage or manipulation of telemetry data, potentially affecting service integrity.

Recommendation

Update the plugin to the latest version. Remove hardcoded credentials and use secure secret storage.
