CVE-2026-120577

HighCVSS 8.1
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

The FluentCart plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the deleteFile function in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.2. An authenticated attacker with custom-level access and above can delete arbitrary files on the server.

Risk Assessment

This can easily lead to remote code execution when a critical file such as wp-config.php is deleted. However, it requires authentication with a specific privilege level.

Recommendation

Update the plugin to a version later than 1.6.2. Restrict user privileges to the minimum necessary.

Original NVD description (English source)

The FluentCart A New Era of eCommerce – Faster, Lighter, and Simpler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the deleteFile function in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php).
