18th percentile - higher than 18% of all known CVEs

Summary

Thelia before 3.1.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in ForSomeCustomers::getSummary() that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject scripts via unescaped customer names. Attackers can register with a script payload as their name that executes when administrators view related coupons, stealing CSRF tokens to create administrator accounts.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can steal CSRF tokens and create administrator accounts, taking over the store. The risk is high because it only requires customer registration and waiting for an administrator action.

Recommendation

Upgrade Thelia to version 3.1.0 or later. Additionally, enforce output encoding for customer names and consider a Content Security Policy.
