CVE-2026-119578

HighCVSS 7.8
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

MONAI from 1.6.0 before 1.6.1 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in Auto3DSeg algo_from_json(). Attackers can run Python code via a crafted algo_object.json in a work directory.

Risk Assessment

A malicious algorithm module is imported and instantiated, allowing code execution under default configuration. This could lead to full compromise of the processing environment.

Recommendation

Update MONAI to version 1.6.1 or later. Do not import untrusted algorithm bundles or work directories.
