Summary

The White Label CMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via admin settings in all versions up to and including 2.7.12 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user accesses an injected page.

Risk Assessment

An authenticated attacker with administrator privileges can inject arbitrary scripts that execute on every access to the compromised page. The risk primarily affects multi-site installations and those where unfiltered_html has been disabled.

Recommendation

Immediately update the White Label CMS plugin to the latest available version. For multi-site installations, consider additional restrictions on administrator permissions.
