CVE-2026-116010
MediumCVSS 4.3Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk10th percentile - higher than 10% of all known CVEs
Summary
RosarioSIS before 12.9.1 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated teachers to write records for students outside their course period by supplying arbitrary student IDs. Attackers can modify the st_arr, values, or attendance POST arrays in MakeReferral.php, EnterEligibility.php, InputFinalGrades.php, and TakeAttendance.php to create referrals, eligibility codes, attendance and final grades for any student in the school.
Risk Assessment
A teacher or other authenticated user can improperly modify data of students outside their courses, compromising the integrity of school records and potentially causing legal and reputational consequences.
Recommendation
Update RosarioSIS to version 12.9.1 or later. Additionally, consider implementing server-side authorization checks verifying that a student belongs to the teacher's course.
Other vulnerabilities in RosarioSIS
See all- CVE-2026-116217Medium
RosarioSIS before 12.9.2 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in modules/Food_Service/MenuReports.php that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject attributes via unescaped menu_id and modname parameters. Attackers can lure a logged-in administrator to a crafted Modules.php link whose double-quoted menu_id injects an onmouseover handler, stealing session and CSRF tokens to act as the administrator.
- CVE-2026-93014High
RosarioSIS versions before 12.9 fail to validate the filename request parameter in Users and Students modules, allowing authenticated users to unlink allow-listed files via path traversal. Attackers can use parent-directory sequences to escape upload directories and delete CSS, XML, JSON resources and other users' documents throughout the installation.
- CVE-2026-19786Medium
A vulnerability was found in francoisjacquet RosarioSIS up to version 12.8 in the file Modules.php. Performing a manipulation results in cross-site request forgery. Remote exploitation is possible. Upgrading to version 12.9 addresses the issue.
- CVE-2026-19785Medium
A vulnerability was found in RosarioSIS up to version 12.7.4, in the student medical module. Manipulation of the 'table' argument in Medical.inc.php leads to SQL injection. The attack can be launched remotely.
- CVE-2026-19784Medium
A flaw was found in RosarioSIS up to version 12.8, affecting the DBUpdate function in Discipline/Referrals.php. This manipulation causes an authorization bypass. The attack can be initiated remotely, and the exploit has been published.
- CVE-2021-45416Medium
