CVE-2026-113656

MediumCVSS 5.3
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

Prior to 1.5.5 of the ApostropheCMS Form add-on, its form submission route stages unbounded multipart uploads before form validation or authentication and lacks upload size, count, and rate limits. Repeated unauthenticated submissions can consume temporary disk storage and disrupt form handling or other host services.

Risk Assessment

An unauthenticated attacker can repeatedly submit large uploads, exhausting disk space and causing denial of service for form handling or other host services.

Recommendation

Update the ApostropheCMS Form add-on to version 1.5.5 or later and consider enforcing upload size and rate limits at the reverse proxy level.
