CVE-2026-112348
MediumCVSS 6.5Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk22th percentile - higher than 22% of all known CVEs
Summary
The Kirki plugin for WordPress before 6.2.5 contains a reCAPTCHA bypass vulnerability. Unauthenticated attackers can submit frontend forms without valid verification by omitting the g-recaptcha-token field in POST requests, because the verify() method returns early on empty token values.
Risk Assessment
Attackers can submit unlimited forms, triggering notification emails, webhooks, and unbounded writes to the submissions table, potentially leading to spam and resource exhaustion.
Recommendation
Update the Kirki plugin to version 6.2.5 or later. If updating is not possible, consider disabling frontend forms or adding additional server-side validation.
