Summary

MISP contains a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the workflow module interface. Parameter names returned by the misp-modules service are rendered as raw HTML form labels without output encoding, allowing injection of arbitrary HTML or JavaScript.

Risk Assessment

An attacker who can influence parameter names reported by the misp-modules service can execute arbitrary JavaScript in an authenticated MISP user's browser. This may lead to session token theft, interface manipulation, or unauthorized actions on behalf of the victim.

Recommendation

Upgrade MISP to version 2.5.48 or later. Until upgraded, consider limiting trust in the misp-modules service and validating parameter names.
