CVE-2026-111690

CriticalCVSS 9.8
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

Simple Admin Core through 1.8.7 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to forge super administrator tokens by using the hard-coded Auth.AccessSecret in api/etc/core.yaml. Attackers can sign a JWT with the public secret and roleId claim 001 to gain full administrative control over users, roles, menus, API authorities, configuration and tokens.

Risk Assessment

The flaw lets any unauthenticated attacker gain full administrative control of the system, potentially leading to complete application and data takeover. The secret is publicly known, making exploitation trivial.

Recommendation

Immediately replace the hard-coded Auth.AccessSecret with a unique, random secret and apply the vendor patch. Until then, restrict API access from untrusted networks.
