CVE-2026-111388

MediumCVSS 5.4
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

Frappe Framework before 15.120.0 and 16.x before 16.33.0 does not enforce the per-user restrict_ip allowlist for non-session authentication methods, including API key, OAuth, and header-based authentication. Attackers holding valid credentials of these types can authenticate from IP addresses outside the allowlist.

Risk Assessment

Bypass of network-based IP restrictions allows system access from unauthorized locations. This can lead to unauthorized access to data and application functions.

Recommendation

Update Frappe Framework to version 15.120.0 or 16.33.0 (or later). Until patched, consider disabling API/OAuth authentication from untrusted networks.
