CVE-2026-111110
HighCVSS 7.2Summary
The GetPaid plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'mmdwqzpoxadd' parameter in all versions up to and including 2.8.61 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Unauthenticated attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when an administrator views the affected payment form.
Risk Assessment
An attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the administrator's browser, potentially leading to session hijacking or data modification.
Recommendation
Update the GetPaid plugin to a version later than 2.8.61 that includes sanitization and escaping fixes.
Other vulnerabilities in GetPaid
See all- CVE-2026-12901Medium
The GetPaid WordPress plugin before 2.8.55 does not verify the authenticity of incoming Worldpay payment notifications. This allows unauthenticated attackers to forge a notification that marks a pending invoice as paid without any payment being made.
- CVE-2026-17605Medium
The GetPaid plugin for WordPress up to version 2.8.56 contains a Local File Inclusion (LFI) vulnerability via the getpaid_payment_form_element function. Authenticated attackers with administrator-level access and above can include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing PHP code execution.
Original NVD description (English source)
The Payment forms, Buy now buttons, and Invoicing System | GetPaid plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'mmdwqzpoxadd' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.61 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The required nonce (getpaid_form_nonce) is publicly emitted to all visitors via wp_localize_script as WPInv.formNonce, meaning no authentication or prior nonce leak is needed; the stored payload fires when an administrator views the affected invoice's Payment Form Details metabox.
