In JetBrains TeamCity before 2026.2, 2026.1.4, and 2025.11.8, stored XSS in the classic build log was possible. Malicious content stored in the log can execute in the browser of a user viewing the log.
Risk Assessment
An attacker can execute arbitrary script in the session of a user viewing the build log, potentially leading to session theft or actions performed on behalf of the victim. In a CI/CD environment this may compromise the build and deployment process.
Recommendation
Upgrade JetBrains TeamCity to version 2026.2, 2026.1.4, 2025.11.8 or later. Restrict access to build logs to trusted users.
