CVE-2026-110643

CriticalCVSS 9.8
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

transcribe2texts through 1.0.6 contains an OS command injection vulnerability. Attackers can supply crafted audioPath values to transcribeAudio(), injecting $() or backtick substitution into the unescaped path passed to child_process.exec(), executing commands with Node.js process privileges.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can execute arbitrary commands in the context of the Node.js application, potentially leading to server compromise, data theft, or further privilege escalation.
