CVE-2026-110631
CriticalCVSS 9.8Summary
Komodo through 2.3.3 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the Periphery agent that allows unauthenticated attackers to connect as a trusted Core because empty core_public_keys and passkeys lists fail open by default. Attackers reaching port 8120 can present any generated keypair to issue Periphery API requests, including terminal sessions and container operations, executing commands on managed hosts typically as root.
Risk Assessment
An attacker can gain full administrative access to managed hosts, executing arbitrary commands as root, leading to complete infrastructure compromise.
Recommendation
Update Komodo to a version later than 2.3.3, configure non-empty core_public_keys and passkeys lists, and restrict access to port 8120.

The `periphery` agent's container-management functionality of Komodo version 2.2.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability. An authenticated low-privileged user with `Execute`, or `Read` plus `Logs`, permission on a managed server can supply shell metacharacters in a container name processed by the `DestroyContainer` or `SearchContainerLog` operations.
- CVE-2026-82267Medium
Komodo through 2.3.2 discloses internal resource identifiers and writes audit entries before performing permission checks in the /execute and /execute/{variant} handlers. Authenticated users can guess resource names to obtain internal identifiers and insert fraudulent audit log entries misrepresenting privileged operations.
