CVE-2026-110533
MediumCVSS 6.4Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk25th percentile - higher than 25% of all known CVEs
Summary
The FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin for WordPress (all versions up to and including 7.5.55.7212) is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'fv_player_videos[_fv_player_user_video][]' parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user visits the injected page. This requires an administrator to have enabled the 'Allow visitors to upload videos to their profile' setting.
Risk Assessment
An attacker with a Subscriber account can inject a malicious script that executes in a user's browser, but this requires a specific administrator-enabled setting.
Recommendation
Update the FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin to a version later than 7.5.55.7212. Consider disabling the 'Allow visitors to upload videos to their profile' option if not needed.

See all- CVE-2026-110001Medium
The FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin for WordPress (all versions up to and including 7.5.55.7212) is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment (shortcode attribute 'align')' parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user visits the injected page. This requires the plugin's 'Parse Vimeo and YouTube links' setting to be enabled.
- CVE-2026-109984Medium
The FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin for WordPress (all versions up to and including 7.5.55.7212) is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user visits the injected page. This requires the 'Parse Vimeo and YouTube links' option to be enabled and a site administrator to approve the comment containing the malicious shortcode.
- CVE-2026-85345Medium
The FV Flowplayer Video Player WordPress plugin before version 7.5.55.7212 does not properly validate a user-supplied URL before performing a server-side fetch, and an existing host-based restriction fails to cover all cases, allowing users with Contributor-level access and above to perform Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks. The impact is limited to a semi-blind oracle: the server's fetch reveals whether an internal resource responds and its HTTP status, but the resource's contents are not returned to the attacker.
Original NVD description (English source)
The FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'fv_player_videos[_fv_player_user_video][]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.5.55.7212 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires an administrator to have enabled the "Allow visitors to upload videos to their profile" (profile_videos_enable_bio) setting before Subscriber-level users can submit profile videos.
