CVE Catalog

CVE-2026-110243

CriticalCVSS 9.9
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

The network management service on Kiloview E3 NDI encoder firmware fails to validate the network interface name accepted by its link maintenance address configuration endpoint before passing it to a shell command. An authenticated web user with network configuration permissions can exploit this to execute arbitrary operating system commands as root.

Risk Assessment

This allows an authenticated web user to escalate to root and fully compromise the device. It can lead to configuration tampering, malware installation, or use of the device as a foothold into the network.

Recommendation

Apply the firmware fix from Kiloview as soon as it becomes available. Until then, restrict access to the web interface and grant configuration privileges only to trusted administrators.
