Low risk8th percentile - higher than 8% of all known CVEs
Summary
Frappe ERPNext before 15.121.0 and 16.x before 16.34.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in certain endpoints that fail to enforce proper authorization checks. Authenticated users can call these endpoints to modify data beyond what their assigned role permits.
Risk Assessment
A user can modify data they are not authorized to change, leading to integrity violations and bypass of role-based access controls. This may result in unauthorized changes to critical ERP records.
Recommendation
Update Frappe ERPNext to version 15.121.0 or 16.34.0 (or later). Until patched, restrict access to the vulnerable endpoints to authorized roles only.
