Summary

The Tour Booking Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'width', 'height' and 'zoom' shortcode attributes of the [ttbm-hotel-map] shortcode in versions up to and including 2.3.6. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the ttbm_hotel_map_shortcode() function, which concatenates raw attribute values into double-quoted HTML attributes of an <iframe> tag. An authenticated attacker with Contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user visits the injected page.

Risk Assessment

An attacker with Contributor privileges can execute arbitrary JavaScript in users' browsers, potentially leading to session theft or content modification.

Recommendation

Update the Tour Booking Manager plugin to a version later than 2.3.6 and restrict content creation by Contributors until the fix is applied.
