CVE-2026-109377
MediumCVSS 4.3Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk15th percentile - higher than 15% of all known CVEs
Summary
ERPNext 9.0.0 through 16.50.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated users to view stock quantities via whitelisted batch methods. Attackers, including customer portal users, can call get_batch_qty, get_batches_by_oldest or get_pos_reserved_batch_qty to list every item batch with per-warehouse quantities.
Risk Assessment
The organization may experience leakage of stock and product batch information, which could be exploited by competitors or for planning theft. Disclosure of this data can breach operational and business confidentiality.
Recommendation
Upgrade ERPNext to a version later than 16.50.0 if available, or restrict access to get_batch_qty, get_batches_by_oldest, and get_pos_reserved_batch_qty methods to authorized roles only. Monitor for unusual calls to these methods by portal users.
Other vulnerabilities in ERPNext
See all- CVE-2026-44447High
ERPNext is a free and open source Enterprise Resource Planning tool. Prior to version 16.9.0, some endpoints were vulnerable to SQL injection, allowing a malicious actor to extract sensitive information.
- CVE-2026-44446High
ERPNext is a free and open source Enterprise Resource Planning tool. Prior to versions 15.104.3 and 16.14.0, some endpoints were vulnerable to SQL injection, allowing a malicious actor to extract sensitive information.
- CVE-2018-3885High
An exploitable SQL injection vulnerability exists in the authenticated part of ERPNext v10.1.6. Specially crafted web requests can cause SQL injections resulting in data compromise through the order_by parameter.

An exploitable SQL injection vulnerability exists in the authenticated part of ERPNext v10.1.6. Specially crafted web requests can cause SQL injections resulting in data compromise.
- CVE-2018-3883High
An SQL injection vulnerability exists in the authenticated part of ERPNext v10.1.6. Specially crafted web requests can lead to data compromise through SQL injection attacks.
- CVE-2018-3882High
An exploitable SQL injection vulnerability exists in the authenticated part of ERPNext v10.1.6. Specially crafted web requests can cause SQL injections resulting in data compromise.
- CVE-2026-65974Critical
ERPNext is a free and open source Enterprise Resource Planning tool. Prior to 15.111.0 and 16.22.0, limited authenticated users can cross a permission boundary in Frappe safe execution because frappe.render_template is exposed without forcing restrict_globals, allowing server-side template injection and remote code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 15.111.0 and 16.22.0.
- CVE-2026-72911Critical
ERPNext prior to versions 15.118.0 and 16.29.0 contains a vulnerability in unsafe template rendering in the statement of accounts process. An authenticated user with a common operational role can inject template expressions, execute arbitrary server-side code, and read data across the application.
- CVE-2026-44442Critical
ERPNext is a free and open source Enterprise Resource Planning tool. Prior to version 16.9.1, certain endpoints failed to enforce proper authorization checks, allowing users to modify data beyond their permitted role.
- CVE-2026-38431Critical
ERPNext v15.103.1 and earlier is vulnerable to Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI). Users with permission to create or edit email templates can inject template expressions executed on the server during rendering.
