CVE-2026-109225

HighCVSS 7.5
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

SGLang through 0.5.21 contains an unbounded memory allocation vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to exhaust memory by uploading oversized files to /v1/audio/transcriptions. Attackers can send concurrent large multipart uploads, which are fully read into memory before validation, to crash the HTTP/tokenizer worker and deny service.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can crash the HTTP/tokenizer worker and stop the audio transcription service. The unauthenticated nature of the attack increases risk because no account is required.

Recommendation

Upgrade SGLang to a version newer than 0.5.21 if available, or limit upload file sizes at the reverse proxy level. Consider enforcing multipart request size limits before they are read into memory.
