Summary

The WP Directory Kit plugin for WordPress (up to and including 1.6.0) is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'idfield' parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. An unauthenticated attacker can append additional SQL queries into already existing queries to extract sensitive information from the database.

Risk Assessment

An unauthenticated attacker can read sensitive data from the database, including user data, passwords, or other sensitive information. This can lead to confidentiality breaches and further attacks.

Recommendation

Update the WP Directory Kit plugin to a version later than 1.6.0. Additionally, consider deploying a web application firewall (WAF) to filter malicious queries.
