Summary

MoguBlog through 6.2 contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows low-privileged front-end users to read system credentials via the getSystemConfig endpoint. Attackers can supply an ordinary reader session token to retrieve unfiltered SystemConfig data, exposing Qiniu and MinIO secret keys and SMTP mailbox passwords.

Risk Assessment

Exposure of secret keys and passwords can lead to unauthorized access to external services such as Qiniu, MinIO, and SMTP, potentially resulting in data leaks or spam sending.

Recommendation

Upgrade MoguBlog beyond version 6.2 if available, or restrict access to the getSystemConfig endpoint to authorized administrators only and filter returned data to remove sensitive information.
