Summary

TDuck survey form through 6.0 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability that allows authenticated users to delete other users' form submissions by supplying arbitrary submission ids. Attackers can place their own formKey in the path and iterate sequential submission ids in the request body to permanently delete submissions platform-wide.

Risk Assessment

An authenticated user can mass-delete other users' data across the platform, leading to data loss and integrity compromise. The risk also includes sabotage and loss of trust in the application.

Recommendation

Upgrade TDuck beyond version 6.0 if available, and implement authorization checks to verify that the user owns the submission before deletion. Additionally, validate submission ids server-side and restrict iteration.
