Summary

JeecgBoot through 3.9.5 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the getUserPermissionSet handler of SystemApiController. Any authenticated user can supply an arbitrary userId to retrieve the full permission set of any account, including administrators.

Risk Assessment

A low-privileged attacker can learn other accounts' permissions, aiding further attacks and privilege escalation. Leakage of administrator permission details increases the risk of system compromise.

Recommendation

Upgrade JeecgBoot beyond 3.9.5 when available and enforce authorization checks in the getUserPermissionSet handler. Until patched, restrict access to the /sys/api/getUserPermissionSet endpoint.
