Summary

JeecgBoot through 3.9.5 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in the GET /sys/api/getDynamicDbSourceByCode endpoint of SystemApiController, which lacks Shiro permission or role annotations. Any authenticated low-privileged user can supply datasource codes in the dbSourceCode parameter to retrieve JDBC URLs, usernames and decrypted cleartext database passwords.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can obtain database credentials, leading to full data compromise and the ability to modify or delete information. Leakage of cleartext passwords poses a critical risk to the organization.

Recommendation

Upgrade JeecgBoot beyond 3.9.5 when available and add Shiro permission checks to the getDynamicDbSourceByCode endpoint. Immediately rotate database credentials if the endpoint was publicly accessible.
