CVE-2026-107634
MediumCVSS 6.1Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk2th percentile - higher than 2% of all known CVEs
Summary
Dislocker through 0.7.3 has a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in get_dataset() and get_next_datum() that never validate dataset and datum sizes against the metadata allocation. Attackers can craft a BitLocker volume image with inflated dataset or datum sizes that, when opened or mounted, crashes dislocker or discloses adjacent heap memory.
Risk Assessment
Attackers can crash the tool or leak memory data, potentially compromising information confidentiality.
Recommendation
Upgrade Dislocker to the latest version that includes fixes for dataset size validation.
