CVE-2026-10714

HighCVSS 8.8
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

A vulnerability in FactoryTalk® Services Platform (FTSP) allows bypassing JWT signature validation during Okta Web Authentication. The application fails to verify that the JWT algorithm is set to RSA, enabling an attacker to set the algorithm to "none" and craft forged tokens.

Risk Assessment

An authenticated low-privilege user can impersonate any authorized user on the FTSP server, leading to unauthorized access to system configuration and the ability to grant permissions to other systems protected by FTSP.

Recommendation

Immediately update FactoryTalk® Services Platform to a version that fixes JWT algorithm validation and configure the server to accept only tokens with the RSA algorithm.
