CVE-2026-106462

MediumCVSS 6.4
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

Backstage prior to 1.54.6 does not consistently enforce credential boundaries in scaffolder source-control actions. This issue is fixed in 1.54.6 when operators also enable scaffolder.requireScmUserCredentials after upgrading.

Risk Assessment

Risk of unauthorized access to resources and operations with elevated privileges in the Backstage environment, potentially leading to data integrity violations or unauthorized changes in repositories.
