CVE-2026-105305

MediumCVSS 5.4
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

In the OIDC implementation of Keycloak, specifically in the Device Authorization Grant flow, the minimum authentication level required by a client configuration is not checked. This allows an attacker who has stolen a user's password to bypass mandatory multi-factor authentication and gain unauthorized access to the Keycloak Admin REST API.

Risk Assessment

The risk includes the possibility of compromising administrative accounts and gaining full control over the Keycloak system, which may lead to confidentiality and integrity breaches of the entire identity infrastructure.

Recommendation

It is recommended to immediately update Keycloak to a version containing the fix and to verify the Device Authorization Grant flow configuration for the required authentication level.
