Exploitation Probability (EPSS)

Low risk
0.24%

16th percentile - higher than 16% of all known CVEs

Summary

The If-So Dynamic Content – Elementor & All Page Builders Personalization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'url' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.10.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected script executes specifically in the administrator's browser session, as the vulnerable branch only renders when an administrator previews or opens the post containing the crafted shortcode.

Risk Assessment

An attacker with a contributor account can craft a post that, when previewed or opened by an administrator, runs a malicious script in the admin's session, potentially leading to administrator account takeover. The risk is high because the victim holds the highest privileges.

Recommendation

Update the If-So Dynamic Content plugin to a version later than 1.10.2 as soon as it is available, and restrict contributor privileges to trusted users. Until patched, avoid previewing posts created by low-privilege users.
