Summary

The Booking Package plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'id' parameter in all versions up to and including 1.7.29 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user accesses an affected page.

Risk Assessment

The risk includes session hijacking, user account compromise, and propagation of malicious code within the WordPress site, potentially leading to data integrity and trust issues.

Recommendation

Immediately update the Booking Package plugin to a version newer than 1.7.29 and implement additional input filtering and output escaping mechanisms.
